Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Supervise, monitor and evaluate all day-to-day and month end closing accounting activities as well as leading finance integration for mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and manage the accounting team.

You are responsible for

  • Managing day to day operation of general ledger accounting team and other month-end activities. Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting.
  • Supporting the Management with high quality monthly/quarterly/annual financial analysis and ad hoc analysis.
  • Monitoring and maintaining effective finance internal controls.
  • Supporting Tax, Treasury, Statutory Reporting and other Finance and non-Finance functions with their financial data needs.
  • Serving as advisor for merger and acquisition project, lead finance integration and ERP system implementation etc.
  • Developing accounting team personnel through training and coaching, and promote a positive working environment.

You are a part of

The Finance team with our Image Guided Therapy (IGT)-D Business Group in the San Diego office. You’ll work closely with Finance leadership in San Diego and accounting team in our Colorado Springs office to support the business’ accounting and finance activities.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • A master or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related area, CPA
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience in the general ledger accounting function
  • Experience with Oracle and/or SAP ERP system preferred
  • Hands-on leader
  • Strong collaborator
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience, preferred
