Sales compensation at Salesforce works closely with Mulesoft sales operations, FP&A, the CFO and the sales organization to align sales incentives with the strategic goals of MuleSoft in order to fuel our explosive growth. Role Description:

Salesforce is looking for a highly skilled new team member to join our growing sales compensation team. This position is responsible for incentive commission processing, reporting and case management functions. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and detail-oriented, with demonstrated problem solving and resolution making skills. This role will be fully engaged in the support of our sales teams and is an outstanding opportunity to collaborate extensively with the global Sales organization.

This position requires strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills as well as the ability to communicate and work with sales management.

Your Impact:

Manage the monthly commission process for our sales teams. This includes having the knowledge of and applying the commission plan, ensuring commissions calculations comply with the plan and managing exception requests.

Resolve case inquiries and be a main advisor to our sales team.  Frequent communication with the sales organization via commission cases.  Process corrections and adjustments as they arise.

Be the reliable partner for all upstream and downstream business functions.  Assist with projects to promote sales enablement, SOX readiness, systems integrations and over process efficiencies in assisting the global sales organizations. Create policy and process changes while ensuring proper documentation.

Have knowledge of data models, related objects and sales order processes within Salesforce to be able to examine gaps and implement processes based on existing functionality.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years work experience. Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), organizational, rational and problem-solving skills, along with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in automated sales commissions systems and their set-up and operation is a plus (e.g. Xactly, Callidus, Oracle EIM, etc.).
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel.

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience in administering sales commissions.
  • Ability to multi-task while managing deadlines, to perform well under pressure and to work alone and as a part of a team.
  • High degree of motivation, flexibility and creativity.
