Financial Analyst – Remote

DESCRIPTION

Logica is focused on enabling dynamic planning, budgeting and forecasting through our visual, collaborative financial modeling platform. Our approach is unique because of our patent-pending visual modeling technology, which provides the flexibility of a spreadsheet combined with the visual clarity of the model logic at the forefront.

You will work directly with the co-founders and will have the following responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in customer on-boarding and ongoing success, including converting spreadsheet financial models to Logica, supporting customers with their financial forecasting and reporting, and training users
  • Create model templates covering a range of business models, industries, and complexity, including setting up example models, reports, and data visualizations
  • Develop training materials and tutorials in video and written format
  • Collect and analyze user feedback and collaborate with the Product team to continuously improve the user experience
  • Actively participate in quality assurance testing
  • Identify content and best practices relevant to our customers and users

A successful candidate will have the following characteristics:

  • Excellent financial analysis and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills and good business acumen
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills and task focus when given multiple assignments

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1 – 5 years of business finance or other relevant experience
  • High proficiency in financial modeling techniques and Excel formulas and functions
  • Passion for math, spreadsheets and finance
