Job Details

The Order Management Specialist will manage reviewing and booking all opportunities accepted within Salesforce compliance policies. The specialist must be able to work in a team environment, be self-motivated, extremely detail-oriented with demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.

Major Responsibilities

  • Review and process customer contracts accurately and timely to ensure compliance to company policies have been met.
  • Partner with sales teams to address customer satisfaction inquires related to contracts
  • Respond to process & policy questions and effectively communicate requirements
  • Work with Sales and Collections to assist in resolution of customer billing investigations and disputes
  • Ensure accuracy of opportunities for forecasting purposes
  • Apply knowledge, skills and judgment to make decisions and resolve issues relating to contracts
  • Participate in new process development and process improvement projects as well as other ad hoc projects.
  • Challenge legacy policies and procedures that complicate quote, order, invoice, credit, commissions, and revenue processing, and formulate creative solutions or work-around based on that analysis.
  • Complete monthly compliance audits
  • Share best practices with and provide cross training for peers, team members and outside business units to enhance the quality and efficiency of sales operations process and contribute to the knowledge base.
  • Coordinate with Contract Specialist and assist in training account executives
  • Establish strong relationships with Sales Operations, Renewals, Collections, Compensation, Legal, Sales, Provisioning, Services and other internal resources as appropriate

Required Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years’ customer management or sales operations experience
  • Must have strong research and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to articulate verbally and written, ability to think quickly
  • Ability to excel in a fast growing/fast paced environment, delivering accuracy while managing deadlines – adaptability is imperative
  • Ability to understand broader business and juggle multiple projects and tasks
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Must be able to maintain a positive attitude in stressful situations
  • Prior order management and Salesforce.com application experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently
