October Road is looking for an Administrative Assistant, who can make lasting differences in peoples’ lives. This exciting opportunity is located in the heart of Charlotte, North Carolina! Enjoy the beautiful city while serving as a dynamic part of the team!The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Compliance & Performance Improvement Support
    • Monthly reports for CARF
    • Monitor supervision compliance of direct care staff
    • Monitor client chart review compliance
    • Assist in audits with MCO, DHHS and CARF
  • Human Resources Support
    • Review HR Files for compliance with CARF, DHHS and MCO’s. Ensure missing items are obtained from staff and supervisors
    • Run training reports for training compliance and reaching out to staff for attendance and ensure completion
    • Coordinate with trainers and complete annual training schedule
    • Ensure face-to-face trainers have documents needed to provide in training, sign in sheets, snacks, lunch, etc
    • Recruitment support as needed related to data entry and background screening needs
  • Administrative Support
    • Operate Front Desk and related duties including taking payments and interacting with clients
    • Review of Payroll and Contracted hours and payment on a bi-weekly basis
    • Purchasing support for Charlotte office
    • Oversight of Room Calendars at 200 Queens Road, Charlotte location
    • Maintain office suite and communicate needs to supervisor and support services

Technical Competencies:

This position requires proficiency in Smartsheet project management software (preferred), Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Outlook Calendar, Qualifacts/Carelogic EMR, ADP & Relias. Position must be able to process Policy and Procedures of organization and make recommendations to operational leadership for HR and CARF accreditation purposes.


  • Minimum of a High School diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in Administrative Functions required.
  • Individual has to be organized and capable of working collaboratively and supporting multiple different organization leaders in the Southeast.
  • Will need to be able to work productively on multiple different concurrent projects and have the ability to prioritize and manage time to complete tasks and execute overall organizational goals.
