FOCUS

This role will focus on helping us scale our fast growing leadership development program, VEG Academy. This individual will help us provide an exceptional experience for all leaders at VEG from recruiting and onboarding to hospital openings. They will also help enhance our current training process by assisting with organization and communication to all VEG leaders.

We are looking for an organized, creative and eager individual to join our growing team! You are the type of person that will jump into new projects with enthusiasm and excitement. You are open to learning, eager to grow, can communicate effectively and work in a team. Excellent organizational skills and a positive attitude are a must.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO

  • Assist the Leadership Development team with enrollment in and organization of VEG Academy training programs, including communication with VEG leaders, planning events and scheduling interviews for potential or aspiring leaders
  • Manage often challenging and complicated calendars and logistics for remote training events
  • Assist with the onboarding process for all new leadership at VEG, which includes scheduling training and coordinating meetings with leaders from multiple departments
  • Assist in the management of training materials inclusive of powerpoints, videos and documents
  • Organize and plan in-person training events, including orientations and leadership summits
  • Schedule all group and individual meetings with VEG leaders and the Leadership Development team
  • Create VEG Academy evaluations and organize data in reports for future development of the program
  • Facilitate communication and act as a liaison amongst different departments at VEG
  • Administrative support to the Leadership Development team

REQUIREMENTS

WHAT YOU NEED

  • 1-2 years’ experience as an administrative assistant or similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA)
  • Highly proficient in Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A passion for leadership, education and personal growth
  • Creative and detail oriented
  • Ability to create and maintain collaborative relationships across multiple teams/individuals
  • A love for people and a desire to help them succeed
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to travel as needed for training events and hospital openings
  • A positive attitude and understanding that oftentimes, the little things can be unnoticed but it doesn’t mean they’re not integral to the organization’s success
  • Motivated, passionate self-starter
  • Loves animals and caring for them
