Director Clinical Compliance/quality Assurance – Performance Improvement & Patient Safety

This is a Contract position in Holly Springs, NC posted May 25, 2020.

The director is responsible for overseeing and directing the Medical Center department of Clinical Data Management.

This position leads efforts to provide high quality clinical data for purposes of external reporting, national benchmarking, and collaborative learning.

Scope of work includes measurement validity and data accuracy related to clinical registries and regulatory initiatives.

The director oversees managers and staff within the department.

Description of Job Responsibilities : Develops continuous improvement strategies by translating business objectives into actionable projects.

Designs and leads projects to implement continuous improvement actions and achieve future state.

Tracks and executes cost reduction on process improvements.

Specific areas of responsibility include CMS reporting, inpatient and outpatient quality and interoperability; maintenance of the registry dashboard as part of the quality data portfolio; chart abstraction for all CMS requirements, clinical registries, and accreditation; and management of surveys for accreditation and hospital rating purposes.
