Assistant National Processor (Remote)

Job Description

The National Assistant Processor I position provides branch and loan processing support to Processors and Loan Officers. This position is 100% remote, open to candidates located in any U.S. state.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Orders third party “order outs” as needed:
  • Appraisal
  • Title/CPL/tax cert/wire instructions/preliminary CD/survey
  • Flood cert
  • VOE’s, VOD’s, VOR’s, VOM’s
  • Homeowners / Flood insurance
  • Payoff statement(s)
  • Condo questionnaire and supporting documents
    • Request condo conditions from HOA/HOI as needed
  • FHA case number/CAIVRS
    • FHA new construction disclosures/building permit/COO (if applicable)
    • Request case transfer (if applicable)
  • VA case assignment/CAIVRS
    • VA new construction disclosures/ building permit/COO (if applicable)
    • Request case transfer (if applicable)
  • USDA – FHA new construction disclosures/ building permit/COO (if applicable)
  • Completes USPS Address Lookup & Property Lookup
  • Social Security Verification (if processor instructs)
  • Upload completed tax transcript/W2 orders and invoice
  • Copies all emails with ordered items and logs phone calls into Conversation Log, along with emails to processor from completed AP reviews with notes on items ordered/completed, missing contacts.
  • Follows up on ordered items to ensure received in a timely manner
  • Reviews order outs as received for accuracy, as instructed on checklist
  • Completes pre close review and funding verbal VOE 7 days prior to closing

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Preferred knowledge and understanding of conventional and government (FHA/VA) loan requirements
  • Preferred knowledge and understanding of state and federal real estate lending regulations
  • Banking, financial, customer service background and/or experience
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of computer processing software systems
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of customer service and intrapersonal best practices

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalency degree
  • 1+ years of experience in banking/financial/customer service (or equivalent) preferred
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting data
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Demonstrated experience with attention to detail, written and oral communication, multi-tasking, and working in a team atmosphere adhering to tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience making sound business decisions with information available
  • Demonstrated experience with MS Office software products

Physical Environment:

  • This position is primarily an in office or work from home position
  • Normal office environment

  • Local travel may be required for company or career-related meetings, programs, and/or events.
