The CDM team within Mobile Marketing is a key driver of demand generation for both internal and carrier sales.  We are driven by data for audience targeting, messaging and offer alignment.  Leveraging consumer insights together with probabilistic models allows us to analyze, strategize and communicate with existing and potential customers.

Position Summary

Reporting into the Sr. Director, the Creative Art Manager of Creative Services will lead in all aspects of creative development and production of digital and social projects. As the Creative Art Manager, while living and breathing our brand guidelines, you must also be passionate, dedicated and forward-thinking. You know how to work with cross-disciplinary teams to concept and create, and give those creations a face, a voice – a unique identity. You understand that ideas rarely start out as genius and you’re eager to cut, edit and tinker until each one shines the brightest.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create awe-inspiring, creative content/campaigns that resonates with target audiences
  • Constantly strive for better, more innovative solutions across media channels.
  • Proactively track trends in culture, design, user experience, and social media.
  • Take ownership of deliverables and initiatives with acute attention to craft and detail
  • Ability to handle more than one assignment at a time across brands, and can adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Report to the creative lead and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Present and justify creative approach with team members as well as clients
  • Daily responsibilities include creating graphics and typographic systems for online display, emails, media updates, etc. Must have good eye for layout, typography and be an expert in Digital.
  • Collaborate with senior Copy Writer, designers and other team members to implement creative direction.
  • Support the vision of SEA to help fulfill short and long term goals.

Required Education/Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 6+ years’ experience in a digital or traditional ad agency with interactive work experience, or similar experience in a brand creative studio.
  • Portfolio that demonstrates conceptual thinking in campaign work as well as digital design
  • Understanding and implementation of 3D animation and video production skills a plus
  • A confident person and capable of juggling several balls on a regular basis. You are the mentor, manager and motivator of a creative group.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, knowledge of AE and Premiere, Sketch, Keynote, as well as working knowledge of prototyping tools (InVision, Marvel, etc.)
  • Fundamental understanding UI design as well as best practices for all digital channels
  • Is self-motivated and resourceful with a positive, can-do attitude

Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions: The position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:

  • Work is generally performed in an office environment.
  • Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal 50% of work time, including prolonged periods of time.
  • The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time under 25 pounds.
  • Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive job stress, fatigue, unpaid over-time, intellectual challenge, constant technical data feedback, language barriers, and business management stress.
  • Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids representative and commonly associated with PCs, printers, and office work areas.
  • Frequently works additional hours beyond normal schedule.
  • Under very little direct supervision with a high level of responsibility to apply general policies and guidelines where decisions are seldom monitored and consequences of decisions adversely affect operating results and management decisions.  Complete access to confidential company data where disclosure may jeopardize the company’s competitive position.
