Boeing has a growing business in providing Harpoon missile electronic launch systems to US and international customers.

The Boeing Company is currently seeking Electronic and Electrical Engineers at our St.

Louis, MO location.

The business covers multiple international customers with effort from proposal, design, production, delivery, installation and support activities.

There are opportunities of occasional domestic and international travel.

Our EEs work with both Commercial Off the Shelf equipment and equipment that is designed and built specifically to Boeing requirements.

This is a growing program with numerous opportunities within the Business Unit.

Primary Responsibilities May Include: Works with customers to develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements.

Analyzes and translates requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.

Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.

Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

Supports fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.

Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.

Clearly conveys information and ideas to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of one’s actions Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system Looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S.

Security Clearance for which the U.S.

Government requires U.S.


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Knowledgeable of how the business and organization operates Skill and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings.

Knowledge of design, production, and build processes to effectively influence Knowledge including requirements, operating principles, design variables, performance, and key interfaces.

Knowledge of programming languages, communications, networking, and protocols, computing equipment and its operating systems.

Typical Education / Experience: Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor’s and 5 or more years’ experience, Master’s degree with 3 or more years’ experience or PhD degree with experience.

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
