Director – Enterprise Solutions Development (Remote)

This is a Full-time position in Remote - US posted May 26, 2020.

Location: Remote – US

This position is responsible to support business development initiatives by working in collaboration with the PAS Directors and Vice Presidents and clients with intervention projects that enable population health improvement, improving evidence-based care and Pharmacoeconomics. This position has responsibility for supporting consultative conversations with Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Biotechnology clients in the Medical Affairs, HEOR and Marketing units.

This position will support the development solutions to progress the strategic relationship with clients and support innovative ideas for collaboration that drive evidence-based care.

This role will work across the Premier enterprise to support the needs of the Client by working internally with the PAS Directors, ITS solution teams and Business Development teams. This will result in supporting the design and execution of innovative solutions and ideas based upon the existing supportive technology. This individual will author concept slides and proposals to expedite deeper discussions leading to client-funded research projects. This position will support the presentation of the concept papers to the client and generate proposals for a given project by working with appropriate members of the PAS, ITS, and broader Premier enterprise. After acceptance of the proposal, this position will assist with bringing the solution to contract and coordinating with the operations team to launch the initiative.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • In collaboration with the business development team, strategically drive pre-qualified project discussions
  • Translate stakeholder objectives into a solution continuum
  • Expand or focus client research vision to orient and prioritize stakeholder objectives

Solution Design

  • Support the design of innovative Intervention solutions based on client needs including:
    • Conceptual framework development
    • Connecting strategy to client needs
    • Alignment to current and future technologies
  • Support exploratory conversations on aligned research interests
  • Document and share best practices internally/externally
  • Capture and catalog high-level research questions
  • Author concept papers
  • Support the presentation of the concept paper to the client
  • For those concept papers moving to proposals, organize the internal Premier team to develop and finalize the proposal
  • Coordinate across PAS ensure smooth handoff’s for engagements moving to SOW including pricing
  • Once SOW is executed, deliver handoff to research lead

Solution Implementation

  • Manage client-facing projects, ensuring the achievement of proper planning, execution, and results
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external groups
  • Track content deliverables and scope
  • Assist with aspects of project planning
  • Organize and assist with assigning work specific to projects
  • Align budget forecasts with actual work activity
  • Set up and maintain budgets in Workday.

Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelors is required and Doctorate (Ph.D,. MD, PharmD, DrPH, etc.) preferred
  • 10 or more years of applicable experience, 12+ years’ experience preferred
  • Healthcare knowledge and business development experience; experience aligning new and innovative solutions with a client focus
  • Excellent writing skills with prior authorship of manuscripts focused on healthcare research
