Onboarding Manager – Remote

DESCRIPTION

Prenda is on a mission to empower learners. We help people run microschools, where small groups of kids meet in a home and own their education. The model is helping light a fire for kids like Mo (https://youtu.be/g4nLjauGM3U), and we want to empower many more. Imagine a world where kids grow up as empowered learners – they choose to learn, develop their gifts, and apply their passion and grit to solve the world’s big problems.

This vision requires us to attract and retain the best Prenda learning guides to lead our growing network of micro schools. The micro school guide growth manager will be responsible for delivering an amazing experience from guide signup to micro school launch. To do so, he/she will instrument the user journey, find places where there could be friction, and build innovative products & features to make becoming a Prenda guide a seamless experience. We will measure the number of Guides who sign up and the number of microschools they launch. This role is a special opportunity for someone who enjoys the intersection of Product and Marketing, loves data & experimentation and has a passion for empowering others to learn.

Responsibilities:

  • Build out processes that enable guides to complete all onboarding requirements seamlessly. This includes Contracting, Background checks & Fingerprinting.
  • Recruit & Manage a team of onboarding coordinators
  • Manage vendor relationships and look for opportunities to improve costs and scale capabilities
  • Work with training and guide support to create materials that are current and accurate.
  • Troubleshoot any issues

REQUIREMENTS

  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent management skills
  • Able to evaluate the effectiveness of our current tools/processes
  • Able to problem solve
  • Self starter, able to work on your own and with teams in a remote environment
  • Able to quickly learn new platforms and technology
  • Willing to accept and implement feedback
  • Willing to learn and able to pick up new programs quickly (ie: Pipedrive, Zoho, etc..)
  • Experience managing a team
  • Experience working with Slack, Google Suite, Zoom, etc.
  • Experience in HR a plus
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System a plus
  • Experience creating strategies to achieve KPI goals a plus
