Recruiter – Remote


This is a Full-time position in Remote - US posted September 16, 2020.

Location: Remote – US

Elastic is growing fast and we’re looking for a highly motivated, intelligent, and dedicated Recruiter to join our global Talent Acquisition Team. You’ll support a wide variety of businesses and departments giving you the chance to wear many hats, think strategically, and provide immediate value.

In your first six months, you’ll focus on partnering with our Federal Professional Services Team to hire security-cleared technical Consulting Engineers and Education Engineers who support Elastic’s Federal customers and post-sales engagements (consultancy and training delivery). Long-term, you’ll be driving and supporting key diversity initiatives as you help grow our company.

Our ideal candidate has recruited for multiple types of positions and profiles, primarily related to Field Operations (Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services) and G&A and Corporate hiring (IT, Finance, HR, Legal, etc.). Occasional international hiring may occur depending on the business’s needs; you are a team player and ready to roll-up your sleeves when necessary to flex with Elastic’s growth.

You must have at least 3-years experience recruiting and sourcing for client-facing Engineers within a sales org. (Pre-sales Engineers, Solution Architects, Technical Account Managers, and/or Consulting Engineers) and huge bonus points if you’ve hired security-cleared individuals.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Engaging talent and leading the hiring process from end-to-end with an extraordinary candidate experience
  • Partnering strategically with hiring managers to build diverse teams and identify specific skillset deficits within their department
  • Actively participating and working with the Global Recruiting Team to develop, implement, and execute recruiting strategies
  • Building relationships with Field Operations, Corporate, and G&A hiring teams and serving as an advisor and partner to provide healthy and meaningful pipelines of stellar candidates
  • Growing Elastic’s brand before, during, and after recruitment; you will help us build our talent brand in addition to our talent pipeline
  • Working cross-functionally with Hiring Managers, HRBPs, Compensation and FP&A teams, and Interviewers across various timezones and levels

What You Bring Along:

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience across multiple departments and time zones (a blend of agency and in-house experience is a plus)
  • Passion for Diversity, Inclusion, Equity, and Belonging and you know that your role in Recruitment is imperative to building great teams
  • Demonstrable experience recruiting for a very fast-paced, high-growth SaaS company where you’ve had to juggle different priorities
  • Proven experience hiring for a wide variety of departments with positions on Engineering, Sales, and/or Corporate Teams
  • High organizational skills and attention-to-detail, and the ability to effortlessly handle multiple reqs without dropping the ball
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to listen, ask smart questions, and think three steps ahead, and negotiate like a pro
  • Ability to effectively articulate the Elastic value proposition and story to candidates
  • Experience collaborating with and influencing senior hiring managers and executives throughout the recruiting cycle
  • Working knowledge of ATS tools (Greenhouse and Workday are a bonus!)
