Job Description:

 

Directs, manages, leads, and coordinates the integration of existing and/or new Information Technology solutions according to requirements of one or more functions, businesses, geographies, and/or IT transformational activities. Areas of responsibility may include business and technical systems design, acquisition and/or development, implementation, and support; infrastructure design, acquisition, implementation, operation, and maintenance; client services support. Establishes functional business plans and technical project/program objectives to meet the short- and long-term goals and metrics of the organization, including internal/external partners required to utilize alternative resourcing plans. Understands, articulates, and optimizes application and process capabilities for use by multiple/all business and IT constituents; drives architectural standards and simplification. Ensures the design, development, delivery and supportability of services/solutions for businesses are in accordance with business and IT objectives

Responsibilities

  • Lead a best of class global IT Enterprise Analytics function with employees, consulting, and contingent workers, for global coverage of the 60K+ organization.
  • Develop and maintain future-state business capabilities that drive the organization’s targeted business outcomes through the choice of programs, projects and initiatives the organization chooses to invest in.
  • You will define and drive the strategy for investments, working closely with key business analytics leaders, and executive management.
  • Drive continuous operational excellence, enterprise analytics architecture evolution, improved solution design practices, and high value technology selection decisions with transparency to business leaders and alignment with Enterprise Applications, Infrastructure, and Cyber Security teams, delivering holistic and unified solutions to HPE from one Global IT organization.
  • Evolve the global workforce and location strategy, using new talent markets, HPE locations, and leadership development opportunities.
  • Continue to improve and scale the operating model, with strong alignment to key stakeholders and functions. Develop engagement, control, and agile delivery best practices with a relentless focus on delivering business value.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the organization to focus on continuous improvement, transparency, speed, scale, and business impact.
  • Build an internal and external brand for the organization aimed at talent acquisition and retention in a highly competitive market.
  • Drive Global IT Enterprise Analytics Platform- Hortonworks Hadoop Platform
  • Lead Global IT machine learning/artificial intelligence initiatives
  • Drive reporting/consumption tool strategy (Qlik, PowerBI, etc).
  • Lead data movement strategy, processes and tools for data integration and data migration
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring and coaching for all staff and foster a culture of accountability, innovation and team building

    Qualifications

  • Strong understanding in key source systems like; S4 Hana, Hadoop Platform, Informatica, and Datawarehouse
  • You are a hands-on dynamic and capable technology leader – positive attitude, energy supplier, ability to think strategically and address tactical issues, make decisions balancing imperfect inputs and options, and manage through conflict. Ability to ideate and execute, strong business insight complimented with technical experience and knowledge
  • Strong business, technology, and people leader focused on execution, highly engaged, responsive, collaborative and able to drive key programs for the company
  • Demonstrates leadership presence and maturity
  • Strong relationship building skills with a diverse and global partner community.
  • Continuous improvement and development focused leader that will engage in all elements of leading the function including strategic, financial, process, policy and people
  • Life learner and leader with vision: strong network relationships, vendor relationships, well-read/active with keeping up analyst and market research, participation in conferences, and active contributor on social media forums
  • 10+ years of experience in large scale, global, and demanding Information Technology or Engineering environments, at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role
  • Solid background and experience in enterprise Analytics, leading global programs, supporting all business functions, and leading technology selection, architecture, and solution design decision-making processes
  • You are a good communicator and lead through influence and you have lead global multi-functional and matrixes teams
  • Validated people, organization, and operations management capabilities
  • Possess strong strategic business partnership & relationship capabilities
  • Superb data driven analytical skills, ability to demonstrate analytics capabilities and opportunities to functional and executive leaders based on a clear understanding of company and functional strategy and objectives
  • Ability to lead and inspire deeply technical IT BSA and Engineering teams to succeed in a fast paced and highly demanding environment
  • Ability to understand business strategy and translate that to strategic IT enterprise analytics and data science commitments
  • Background leading IT Enterprise Applications teams and programs, leadership and business system analysis experience in this domain a plus
  • Big 5 consulting experience a plus
  • Experience in driving leading master data a plus
  • Excellent written, verbal, and .ppt communication capability
