Role and Responsibilities

The Deployment Services Industry Expert will be part of the newly created Network Deployment Services organization reporting into the VP of Deployment Services.   This is an individual contributor role.  This position will be a key role in guiding and helping the Samsung customer account teams, Deployment Services leadership, Samsung Korea leadership on the Deployment Services practices, technologies and processes followed by various players in this industry.  This person will also play a significant part in shaping up processes, practices and technologies for Samsung Deployment Services working closely with the Deployment Services PMO organization using the best in class industry knowledge. The role will be based in Plano, Texas. Key activities and responsibilities include:

  • Provide guidance and knowledge on deployment services processes, technologies, policies of the industry and players to both US and Korea Networks leadership and organization
  • Be an active member on various RFP responses as well as on strategy discussions related to deployment services
  • Strong contributions in shaping the Samsung deployment services processes, practices and technologies
  • Work with Customer account teams, Deployment PMO, Operations, Korea Networks HQ leadership and Global PMO organization appropriately.
  • Hands-on knowledge of 4g/5g tower deployments; Site Acquisition; Construction; Site Engineering; Commissioning & Integration (+ decommissioning if SWAP), etc.
  • Must Possess Multiple Network OEM knowledge base.

As an expert and a senior leader, this person is expected to have a significant role in ensuring the Samsung Deployment Services has a significant growth in the coming years and becomes highly competitive, competent, efficient, and profitable.

Skills and Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA is strongly preferred;
  • 15+ years of leadership experience in a Telecommunication Services organization as Deployment Services Program/Project leader, preferably in mobile networks
  • Ability to influence numerous stakeholders at the executive level both locally and at HQ
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills and facility for establishing relationships cross-functionally and cross-divisionally and with customer
  • Strong knowledge of Industry practices, tools, technologies for deployment services of various players
  • Authorized to work in the U.S
