Overview of Digital Media Intern

HealthCorps, Inc., is currently seeking a Digital Media Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of or interest in the digital media landscape, including various social media sites and backend website support. You will be responsible for contributing to website organization, scheduling and reporting on social networks, and participating in online outreach and promotion.

Compensation and College Credit
This is an unpaid internship. However, depending on University guidelines, you may be eligible for college credit.

Responsibilities of Digital Media Intern

  • Support monthly marketing and editorial calendar
  • Collaborate and brainstorm marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Organize and label website pages and media through WordPress
  • Draft and schedule updates to HealthCorps’ supported social media accounts through SproutSocial
  • Final copy review for grammar, punctuation, tagging on website and social media posts
  • Monitoring and drafting replies to social media posts
  • Track and report website and social media analytics and trends on a weekly basis
  • Assist with administrative duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

1. Familiar with / interest in website analytics (WordPress, Google Analytics)

2. Familiar with social media and scheduling/reporting platforms (SproutSocial)

3. Attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks

4. Experience with Microsoft Office applications at intermediate to expert level

5. Photo/video editing, graphic design, or creative writing experience a plus
