Guitar Center: Manager ecommerce business planning

This is a Contract position in Troy, OH posted June 4, 2020.

Job Description As the Manager, eCommerce Business Planning, you will oversee the promotional planning and events surrounding the Musician’s Friend business, reporting directly to the Director of Musician’s Friend.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following: Conduct research and analysis of past campaign performance, product sales (volume, revenue and net profit) and create price and bundling strategy to plan promotions across email, websites and direct mail Build and maintain ongoing communications with business owners, contact center teams, and ecommerce marketing channels to share best practices and program ideas.

Collaborate closely with internal partners including creative services, copy and brand teams to create integrated messaging and materials that align with the promotional plan.

Analytics: Develop data-driven strategies to hit key performance indicators Deliver campaign and promotions performance reporting to stakeholders Help increase margins and analyze lift from promotions Create and implement pricing strategies where needed Work with finance and merchants to forecast product sales (units by SKU, revenue and net margin) for each promotion Forecast, measure, analyze and report the impact of marketing programs.

Report on weekly and monthly results of promotions Develop, execute and manage dynamically compelling promotional campaigns to drive traffic and sales, including tactics such as loyalty campaigns, evergreen events and other promotional activities.

Develop the business promotional calendar for the line of business to meet and exceed business performance objectives.

Constantly monitor sales achievement and recommend strategies to positively affect outcomes that meet and exceed business goals.

Develop and execute on go-to-market growth experiments to refine the product launch and campaign playbook.

Build and Communicate the Strategy and Campaign briefs Own Planning Forecast and Calendar Work closely with our Marketing and Merchandise departments on ideation and resource allocation.

To join our band, you’ll need the following experience: Bachelor’s Degree (or 4 years of equivalent work experience), preferably in Marketing or related field.

5 years of relevant work experience (in addition to degree or years of previous experience).

2 years of experience leading teams.
