System Manager – Online Marketing and Fundraising Systems – Remote

Location: Remote – US

Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is in search of a forward-thinking, experienced Online Marketing & Fundraising System Manager to join our mission. This individual is responsible for implementing and supporting technology to support HFHI’s short- and long-term web-based fundraising strategies and goals. With a thorough understanding of the web-based fundraising strategy, this position will work with other HFHI departments to identify online opportunities, implement and support projects that may include online donation, registration, advocacy, membership, e-commerce, and constituent information processes.

This is a 100% remotely based position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with customers to understand their operation within the organization and industry.
  • Provide strategic, tactical, production and project management services to support and assist with online marketing and fundraising initiatives.
  • Assist in strategy and production of online marketing and fundraising campaigns including:
    • Sourcing content ideas and associated assets
    • Producing emails, from concept to execution, including building, QCing and deploying within the Blackbaud Convio Luminate platform.
    • Producing web pages and interactives, including quizzes, surveys, eCards and more, within the Blackbaud Convio Luminate Online and Drupal CMS platforms.
  • Monitor and respond to service desk requests, including assisting teams across HFHI with technical troubleshooting, platform expertise and implementing online marketing and fundraising best practices.
  • Assist in the creation of a new website or updates to existing websites, including building web pages, transferring content, and working in partnership with creative departments to execute on the vision.
  • Working collaboratively with Communications, execute design to support marketing and fundraising efforts across multiple channels, including email, social media and web.
  • Maintain tracking and analytics documents for email campaigns.
  • Responsible for ensuring the collection of key data elements through the development, maintenance, and implementation of system interfaces and processes between the online fundraising system(s) and the CRM software system.
  • Develop test schedules, review testing plans, track and document testing efforts and assist testing efforts where necessary.
  • Analyzes and evaluates existing and proposed web-based systems and devises or modifies processes and procedures for solving business problems.
  • Manages, coordinates, and evaluates the efforts of external organizations and consulting services engaged in the execution of technology initiatives

Minimum Required:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related technical field or equivalent work experience required.
  • Years of Related Experience: 4+ years with online fundraising technologies and best practices for a non-profit organization.
  • Must have a solid understanding and experience of business applications, business processes, business analysis, direct marketing, online marketing, event development, and e-commerce.
  • Strong analytical and facilitation skills.
  • Strong decision making and problems solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including experience with both technical and non-technical communications.
  • Experience working on high impact cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with all levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical.
  • Proficiency with the Blackbaud Luminate Online Platform, particularly the email, Donation, PageBuilder, Survey and Constituent360 modules.
  • Experience with Drupal CMS Platforms, HTML, CSS, Front Page, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Strong understanding of current web design, UX, and UI standards and trends as well as Web Accessibility implementation standards.
  • Understanding of responsive design, standards, and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of web analytics and related platforms. (example: Google Analytics)
  • Experience with Atlassian products JIRA and Confluence preferred.
