EM Analyst – Google Shopping – Remote

This is a Full-time position in Remote- US posted September 15, 2021.

Location: Remote – US

Playbook Media is looking for an experienced digital marketer with the passion and know-how to drive growth for our early-stage, well-funded Direct-to-Consumer clients.  As a full-time Sr. Growth Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to plan, execute and report on successful paid Google and Microsoft marketing campaigns.

 Role Responsibilities: 

  • Help manage and optimize client PLA (Product Listing Ads) within Google Ads, Google Merchant Center and Microsoft Ads
  • Day to day management of paid search campaigns including keyword generation, ad copy writing, testing, bid management and landing page optimizations
  • Manage forecasting, spend pacing, and budget management across all paid search campaigns to ensure efficient, sustainable growth
  • Ongoing paid search optimization, targeting improvements, and keyword expansion efforts
  • Determine target demographics, trends and insights to achieve campaign goals
  • Create and maintain reporting to demonstrate results and track performance over time
  • Work closely with the Director of SEM to develop strategies that are in line with meeting client objectives
  • Participate in regular client-facing meetings to review performance and objectives

 Role Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing complex Google and Bing Shopping and SEM campaigns for Direct-to-Consumer brands
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing
  • Prior management of product feeds through 3rd party tools like GoDataFeed and DataFeed Watch
  • Detail-oriented, analytical and proactive thinker, with a desire to deliver results
  • Excellent communication skills – able to interface with clients, understand their goals and work towards delivering results
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience with Google analytics, Google sheets and Excel

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience buying, optimizing, or measuring digital media for a digital marketing agency
  • Experience working on, or leading, a Growth team for a consumer-focused brand
  • Experience at Google or Microsoft in an advertising focused role (sales, measurement)
  • Experience with lift testing, multi-channel attribution tools & methodologies
