Posting Date: February 13, 2020 Posting End Date: March 31, 2020 Position: Assistant Professor of Mathematics for Fall 2020 Location: Department of Mathematics Status: Full Time, exempt (Tenure-Track Appointment) Position Summary In keeping with the President’s commitment to Tuskegee University demonstrating “Excellence in Every Way,” the ideal Assistant Professor of Mathematics will be able to assist in the daily operations and management of the Mathematics Department, College of Arts and Sciences and in alignment with the Office of the President.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities To teach 12 semester hours of entry-level or upper-level mathematics courses To serve on departmental and/or university-wide committees Work with outreach programs To guide upper-level mathematics majors in independent research projects Work towards course development To publish and to seek external funding Qualifications Ph.D.
