What this job involves
JLL Technologies, the newly aligned division of JLL (NYSE: JLL) delivering technology products and services for commercial real estate, is seeking a growth marketing leader to build its digital marketing and demand generation center of excellence.
In this role, you will join a small, dynamic team at JLL Technologies (JLLT), a $100MM revenue ‘startup’ within JLL. You will report to the Chief Strategy Officer and work closely with the Co-CEOs and act as a cross-functional leader who enables quick alignment as well as functional business leads to help define our development strategies and operationalize short- and long-term hypotheses.
The ideal candidate is programmatic about process with strong strategic, deal execution and post-merger integration skills. You have direct experience forming strategic frameworks to help assess potential deals, drive due diligence, and post-merger integration and make this is a competitive advantage and identify deals to pursue and drive results. The ideal candidate showcases a deep understanding of M&A and strategic partnership culture and who is well versed, decisive and eager about the opportunity to create process.
As a Director of Product Manager at JLL Technologies, you will be directly responsible for:
Strategic Assessment
Serve as an integral member of company’s strategic planning effort to identify, assess, and prioritize growth opportunities
Identify acquisition opportunities
Lead competitor analysis; analyze and report key trends and issues impacting the industry
Assess alternatives including other targets, partnerships, and organic builds
Process Management
Lead the creation of a nimble due diligence and a program for proactive post-merger integration planning and execution. Understand and stay aware of best practices to continually improve our processes.
Responsible for project managing the deal process including due diligence
Direct and manage post-merger integration and handle the closing process by working closely with different departments and stakeholders.
Deal Execution
Evaluate, develop, and recommend deals and deal structures
Manage financial modeling
Negotiate directly, or occasionally support an executive’s negotiation, with target
Create necessary presentation materials for executive management, potential partners and customers
What We Are Looking For
10+ years of business or product experience and 5+ years of transaction experience in Corporate Development
MBA or relevant graduate degree
Global or multinational business experience preferred
Direct experience creating market maps and strategic frameworks to build alignment on which segments and targets to prioritize
Direct experience in M&A negotiation and execution
Direct responsibility for due diligence and post-merger integration
Experience working in a demanding environment with highly motivated and driven professionals
Ability to handle projects with multiple workstreams, with proven leadership success over a wide variety of functional business problems
Ability to structure and manage complex cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities; ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior managers and external business partners
Strong leadership skills with a team-oriented and collaborative approach to work
Product or Marketing background preferred
