Global Account Director (Remote)


This is a Full-time position in Remote - US posted May 29, 2020.

Job Description:


The Global Account Director (GAD) is responsible for setting and managing the global strategy for a small number of clients who have substantial strategic and financial opportunity. Although the position does not manage direct reports, the GAD will be the leader/quarterback of global teams supporting these accounts within Epiq and is responsible for maintaining and driving YOY new business growth.

What you will do

  • Direct strategy for large, global accounts including driving and coordinating executed selling and relationship activities. Strategically orchestrate sales colleagues in other countries who are calling on Global Accounts in their respective geographies
  • Possess a detailed understanding of assigned client’s business strategy, drivers, goals and initiatives and translate these into selling opportunities using your business acumen.
  • Establish and maintain client relationships; building trust and rapport with C-Level Executives, direct reports and key decision makers.
  • Account management, going wider and deeper, with outcome of increased customer satisfaction, retention & account growth.
  • Leverage creative prospecting to open new business.
  • Quota achievement in retaining and growing revenue.
  • Collaboration with internal sales leaders, account directors and sales operations to successfully execute client sales strategies. Willing to proactively share best practices with all sales.
  • Apply knowledge, experience and influence to bolster sales of legal solutions offerings as well as identifying opportunities to cross sell the full suite of Epiq solutions.
  • Schedule and attend sales calls, customer meetings, presentations and demonstrations.
  • Coordinate billing and project activities with internal teams as needed to support the optimal outcome of client engagements.
  • Skilled in the use of salesforce automation to manage account activity.

Preferred Qualifications include:

  • 10+ years of quota carrying experience in a complex, technology and business services, solution-selling environment.
  • Builds strong internal network across all geographies to ensure collaborative approach to managing global accounts.
  • Proven high-achiever with a track record of success, consistently meeting or exceeding annual goals
  • Travel required, some global when necessary
  • Deep experience in Legal Services/eDiscovery preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communicator – Presentation of complex technical details, articulate, and able to instill confidence with clients
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills and adept at putting together creative financial models to drive business.
  • Exhibits strong emotional intelligence with effective ability to influence without authority and partner cross-functionally. Strong network/quarterback/leadership skills
  • Action oriented, with a sense of urgency and professionalism
  • Ability to think strategically and effectively & execute tactically
  • Experience at leading high-powered teams without direct responsibility for managing
