Global Product Performance Director (Facilities Management)

The Role 
JLL’s Global Product Management group is seeking a versatile Global Product Performance Lead, who will play a critical role in developing best-in-class approaches for the support of our global Facilities Management product. As JLL increases its focus on technology and product management, the product team is focused on defining and building a product management process to streamline and simplify product/service offerings, increase product adoption with existing accounts, focus investment efforts in high-growth opportunities, minimize wasted product spend and increase portfolio profitability.

The Responsibilities

What this job involves:

This position requires a talented leader who excels in the being the best ambassador for a family of products. This individual will:

  • Work closely with the Product Group Manager and Product Owners to become a single source expert in individual product details, specifications and standards.
  • Acts as the lead conduit of information for product specific knowledge share.
  • Is solely responsible for the “Health of the Product” in ensuring the product delivers against engineered KPIs and is the key feedback loop to the product owner and product manager.
  • Ensures that each product within a product family is relevant to a region. Regional representation includes the approval of any changes to the product specifications to ensure regional success.
  • Represents the products within a product family to key internal and external customers including presentations and client meetings.
  • Prepare content, written and presentation form, for client pursuits
  • Develop deep market expertise and understanding for their assigned products and offerings with clear articulation of user personas and behaviors leveraging a Human centered design approach
  • Assess and ensure strength of the products against competitive offerings.
  • Supports the working groups to ensure integration of new products into accounts.
  • Is the first point of contact for resolution around product performance or information.
  • In collaboration with product marketing, design and develop customer feedback loop
  • Represent the product team at internal and external JLL events and conferences

Product Overview and Expertise

JLL’s Facilities Management offering supports our clients’ needs to operate safe, comfortable, compliance, cost effective space, while promoting the health and wellness of their employees.  Our teams deliver FM services for 1.5B square feet of space globally.  The FM product team is responsible for development and continuous innovation of our core product offering.  The Product Performance Support Lead will play a key role in sharing product information and capabilities and obtaining feedback from our clients and account teams to inform the evolution of our products.

Expertise Required

Ideal candidate should have:

  • Experience working on global projects across a matrixed environment
  • Articulate and effective communicator, comfortable presenting to clients, large groups and senior executives
  • Proven ability to connect with customers and users to identify needs and translate to differentiated products and offerings that deliver willingness to pay
  • An ability to tell a story around innovation, find opportunity based on customer needs, and deliver innovation efforts leading to change
  • Strategic thinker with an emphasis on business strategy and the ability to identify solutions to business challenges
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and constant change in direction/focus, experience leading through transformation
  • Experience in developing sales content that can convey complex information in simple, clear forma
  • ‘Achiever’ mentality – independent, self-performer with the ability to rapidly complete project initiatives and attain a multitude of team goals simultaneously and autonomously
  • Strong product management capabilities with demonstrated experience in driving a host of initiatives at once, managing budgets, team resources and project timetables
  • Execution skills in working with product teams through design / launch and redesign
  • Strong experience with data management, especially to drive accuracy and inform senior leaders for decision making purposes
  • Ability to cut down the complexity and work towards a simple solution and fast approach
  • Experience working in autonomous role
  • 5-10 years in product management and/or Facilities Management or Corporate Real Estate preferred
  • Experience in implementing a product management process
  • Entrepreneurial drive and ability to work at a fast pace
  • Strong aptitude in defining the customer(s) and creating a global mindset to deliver across segmentation
